Children’s Ministry
Our Children’s Ministry provides a safe and secure environment where parents can drop off their children after the Sunday Celebration Worship and enjoy the message in an undistracted way. Our program has been designed to support parents in the spiritual training of their children. While parents receive biblical teaching, separate classes are provided for their children that are God-glorifying, Christ-centered, and biblically sound. Classes are held for children up to the 6th grade, 7th grade and up stay in the Sunday message with their parents.
For families with a newborn or older baby, we offer a peaceful nursery that is staffed by loving workers. Little ones are able to play with age-appropriate toys, and cribs with fresh linens are available for sleeping babies. A nursing mothers’ room with a live video feed of the Celebration Meeting enables mother to care for her infant and not miss out on the meeting. Our 1 and 2 year olds meet in classrooms that have age-appropriate toys, storybooks, music, and activities that make for a safe, fun-filled morning where helpers take a special interest in each child.
Preschool classes are offered for 3, 4 and 5 year olds. These classes are more structured. They learn biblical truths by participating in object lessons and other activities. Preschoolers spend time in smaller classroom settings where they receive a Bible lesson, make a craft, eat a snack, and have time to play and make friends.
Currently we offer elementary classes through 6th grade. Our 1st, 2nd, and 3rd graders meet in a classroom for Biblical teaching. This is reinforced by special activities which include exciting drama skits, and creative crafts. 4th, 5th & 6th graders attend their own class where they receive Biblical teaching and participate in God-glorifying discussions with teachers and friends.
